We are seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Developer to become a fundamental part of our team in our Vancouver office location. We are at an exciting time here at PPT, and we are looking to build out our west coast team.

Qualifications

• HTML, CSS, DOM
  • CSS Layout/Grids
  • Responsive Web Design
  • CSS Specificity
• JavaScript
  • DOM Manipulation
  • Functional Programming
  • Good knowledge of jQuery
• 3+ years professional experience with React.
• 5+ years of HTML/CSS experience, including concepts like layout, flex, and cross-browser compatibility.
• A solid understanding of core Front-End web technologies and understanding web and browser concepts (i.e. how the browser parses and constructs a web page)
• A good understanding of REST APIs and how they function.
• Mobile Web Performance
• Working with Data Formats (i.e. JSON)
• A solid understanding of the difference in behavior between web browsers
• Front-End Testing/QA

Good to Know

• Knowledge of LESS/SASS/SCSS
• Professional experience with modern JavaScript web frameworks such as React/Vue
• Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both disguise & prevent these issues
• Experience with a UI framework ecosystem, such as Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, Vuetify, etc.
