SUMMARY:Work with a company who prides themselves on providing quality work, in an honest fashion, at competitive prices, while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. As the newest member of their team as either a Heavy Duty Mechanic or Agriculture Equipment Technician you will be responsible for the repair, overhaul and maintenance of excavating equipment, bulldozers, graders, and tractors.JOB DUTIES:

• Check bulldozers, graders, excavators, tractors and other equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
• Diagnose faults and/or malfunctions using testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
• Repair defective equipment and replace defective parts, components or systems using hand and power tools
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
• Service attachments and working tools
• Complete work order forms and equipment maintenance as stated in paperwork
• Test repaired equipment for performance and to ensure work meets manufacturers specifications
• Document repairs and services performed in maintenance reports

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Completion of a 3 to 5 year apprenticeship program
• Intermediate level of English language
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
• Able to work in a physically demanding and noisy environment (handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling)
• Able to lift 45kg/100lbs
