HealthOPM is seeking Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to join our team for both local and travel assignments across Ontario. Collaborate with physicians and provide primary care services to patients of all ages, making a meaningful impact on their lives.
Local Assignments: Work in proximity to your home location.
Travel Assignments: Experience remote or rural locations while delivering quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough patient assessments and develop comprehensive care plans.
- Educate patients on preventive healthcare and provide counseling as needed.
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress closely.
- Maintain precise client records, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.
- Adhere to CNO standards and facility policies and procedures.
- Provide direct patient care in various settings, including hospitals.
Requirements:
- Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in the Extended Class (EC) as an NP (adult) or NP (primary health care).
- Masters degree in nursing (MN-NP) or Masters of Science in Nursing.
- Demonstrated experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Strong clinical skills and effective communication abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Compassionate approach to patient care and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability in healthcare environments.
- Availability for flexible shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (MMRV).
- Negative TB skin test within the past year or negative chest x-ray within the past five years.
- Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certification.
