Partner staffing is currently working to find a number of talented IT Infrastructure Engineer with experience with cloud and collocated data. Our client works nationwide and is looking for an individual to work out of the Lethbridge location. There is an opportunity for career growth.
Description
This role provides support for day-to-day system operations. There are Private Data Servers as well as Cloud-based systems. Supporting the customer requirements and troubleshooting client issues is a regular daily requirement. Some Database Administration. Dealing with backup and disaster recovery events and managing and controlling network connectivity issues. Reviewing system and individual client documentation and systems. There is also an on-call component for non-business hours.
Requirements
Location: Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada
- Minimum three years experience in a system administration role.
- Exceptional communication skills
- Data Center environment experience including backup power, and cooling
- Substantial experience with
· VMware vSphere
· Storage Area Network (SAN) using NFS, iSCSI and other protocols
· Veeam Backup and Veeam Cloud
· Juniper OS, Linux, and MS Win
· Database exposure to MySQL, MS SQL,PostgreSQL
Additionally, the right person will have computer sciences post-graduate education and other certifications that apply to the role.
