We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate skin care instructor with the ultimate goal - to deliver outstanding education to the Professional Skin Therapists that sell Dermalogica. You will teach them about the skin, our products, current treatments, and how to grow their business.

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

Instruction

• Upskill and empower by training our partners, your fellow teammates and the sales team.
• Conducts classroom style presentations held at our Training Centers and delivers robust Dermalogica curriculum.
• Be an enthusiastic motivator for the Education, PST Flagships, and Sales Team by using education to influence the growth and success of our partners.
• Develop content and education relevant to meet the needs of our partners, whilst remaining consistent and aligned with core brand values and approach.
• Establish and embrace creative approaches to deliver education utilizing online and digital resources on relevant platforms to optimize engagement.
• Evaluates effectiveness and impact of education and proactively looks for opportunities to evolve and drive success.
• Collaborate support the broader Education team in the delivery of education.
• Works with marketing to execute relevant brand messaging through channels, leveraging the resources of Education to contribute to successful implementation and drive brand awareness.
• Assist the Business Consultants on Road Days/Account/Prospect Visits with your expertise in knowledge and skillset.
• Support the student store with product and class recommendations when needed.
• Developing and executing presentations to an excellent Dermalogica standard, digital delivery on social media, live streams, video segments and IG Live.
• Proactively researches and stay abreast of trends, developments, and requirements within the skin care industry.
• Always maintains classroom appearance and cleanliness including monitoring the laundry supply levels and assures that the next day's class will have all the necessary items. (Completing daily cleaning list)
• Maintains treatment room appearance and cleanliness. (Completing daily cleaning list)

Events

• Support Sephora events, trade shows, media/consumer events, product launches, undergraduate and partnership school events, on-tours and other events in general

Flagships

• When needed, to assist at the Flagship locations providing skin treatments, answering client calls, booking appointments, product/treatment recommendations and cashing clients out.

Requirements

• Certified Skin Therapist
• Minimum of 2 years Education and Training experience in a skin care environment.

• Exceptional ability/confidence to present in a group setting.
• Leads by example and displays a highly professional and motivated approach to all duties.
• Self-motivated and driven.
• Familiarity with virtual training on MS Teams or Zoom an advantage.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Knowledge of digital outlets and applications through social media is an asset.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (English, French is an asset)
• Passionate about building relationships including mentoring, coaching, and providing outstanding customer service.

• Demonstrate strong team mentality and ability to collaborate and support others.
• Experience working with Dermalogica products is an advantage.

This role is NON-AGILE which means you are required to be in person 100%

Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (5 days a week/7.5 hours a day); Lieu time provided for weekend duties with notice.
