The Role
CI Technologies, powered by Versaterm Public Safety, is hiring a Full Stack Developer to develop and maintain web applications. Development responsibilities include all parts of the software development lifecycle as well as communication with various project stakeholders to assure requirements are met.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new features and enhancements into existing products
- Design and develop frontend UI and backend REST API endpoints
- Design relational schema changes to implement new features while retaining backwards compatibility with supported legacy systems
- Collaborate with Azure team to improve products' cost and resource efficiency
- Implement data security measures, including application-level encryption and key management
- Prioritize workloads and managing demands from multiple projects and groups of stakeholders
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience working in a full-stack environment on large-scale projects
- Ability to independently build full-stack features from the ground up
- Working knowledge of web-based applications - HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Experience with relational databases such as Postgres
- Expertise in Java
- Experience managing cloud environments utilizing AWS and/or Azure
- A desire to help public safety agencies
Nice to Haves
- Experience in the Android space would be considered an asset
- Experience with implementing and maintaining multi-tenancy applications
- Experience with containerization (Docker, K8s)
