Bluenose Health is recruiting for several Nurse Practitioner positions in Mahone Bay and Halifax, NS.
Bluenose Health is an innovative nurse practitioner-led private primary care clinic providing a personalized approach to primary care in Nova Scotia. Bluenose Health uses a limited subscription-based membership to offer clients timely access to primary health care. Our focus is to provide every patient with individual attention to meet their specific health care needs.

We provide evidence-based primary care offered through a subscription model in which clients pay for services. The clinic is led by nurse practitioners in a comfortable, confidential setting.
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be at the forefront of providing individualized, compassionate attention to every patient, ensuring they receive personalized care.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Patient Assessment: Conducting comprehensive health assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and ordering laboratory and diagnostic tests
- Diagnosis and Treatment: Formulating differential diagnoses and developing treatment plans for acute and chronic illnesses
- Health Promotion and Disease Prevention: Educating patients on preventive measures, promoting healthy lifestyles, and conducting screenings for various health conditions
- Prescribe required medications
- Consult and refer to other health care providers
- Complete various medical forms (e.g., Driver's Medical Examination Report)
What You Will Bring:
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in Nova Scotia
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care with an old-school approach emphasizing in-person interactions and compassionate attention
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Flexibility and eagerness to choose and specialize in areas of interest within healthcare
- Willingness to complete a criminal and background check
