The Senior Program Coordinator is an integral part of the team responsible for assisting with the management and coordination of various projects. The Program Coordinator performs a wide variety of tasks such as creating/maintaining project documentation, tracking deliverable timelines, communicating project risks, creating executive level status reports, and providing administrative support. The successful candidate will work closely with the Program Manager, Program/Project Coordinators, Project Managers and other project team members to coordinate projects efficiently from inception to completion.
What you will be doing:
  • Work closely with all project team members, including Program Manager, Portfolio/Program Coordinators, Project Managers to provide support for multiple projects.
  • Responsible for preparing high-quality project artifacts and related presentations (e.g., project charters, business cases, briefing notes, monthly reports, etc.).
  • Track and analyze project performance via comprehensive summary reports on ongoing programs.
  • Assist with project administration deliverables (i.e. meeting minutes; budget tracking; schedule updates; project closeout).
  • Drive collaboration and communication necessary to ensure delivery success, including successful management of risk and dependencies
  • Act as the Technology Services project focal point for the Health Authority and stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned
What you have:
  • 5+ years' experience working as a project/program coordinator
  • Previous experience with complex Information Technology (IT) projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to produce concise, structured and well written documents and reports
  • Demonstrated ability to use spreadsheets, word-processing, PowerPoint and other software at an intermediate level
  • Highly adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced priority driven environment
  • Exceptional level of professionalism; personable, approachable and courteous
  • Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail including an awareness of downstream effects of actions
  • Ability to work independently to meet deliverables and solve problems
  • Self-starter, proactive and solutions oriented
  • Ability to adapt to change and tolerate high stress levels
  • Experience working within the Health Authorities is highly preferred
