As a Financial Analyst at Jim Peplinski Leasing, you will be an essential piece of the Finance & Risk puzzle, helping to evaluate and interpret financial information to support critical decision-making processes. Reporting to the Vice President, Finance & Risk, you will make your impact by making sense of the numbers, bringing next-level enthusiasm and positivity, and consistently striving to put your best, and informed foot forward.

As a key player on our Finance & Risk team, you will:

• Analyze and interpret financial data to support informed decisions.
• Generate comprehensive financial reports for internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to the annual budgeting process and assist in monthly forecasting activities.
• Keep a close eye on financial performance, identify trends and pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in customer credit reviews, conduct financial statement analysis, and prepare credit writeups.
• Continuously evaluate existing systems and processes and identifying opportunities for enhancement and efficiency.
• Provide support for special projects as needed.

What you bring to the table:

• You have completed or are pursuing a post-secondary education in a relevant discipline such as finance, accounting, or business.
• You've got 3-5 years' worth of related experience under your belt.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation techniques.
• You have a meticulous attention to detail and ensure accuracy in all of your work.
• You are a master communicator and convey information clearly and concisely.
• If you have one, or are pursuing a CPA designation – that's a bonus (but not mandatory)!
• If you've dabbled in Power BI or Analytic Software, that would be great (but again, not mandatory).

• You have an insatiable appetite to learn and absorb the knowledge that's shared with you.
