$30 - $50 hourly

• Build door and window frames, stairways, rafters, and partitions
• Examine and repair structures
• Confirm flooring, roofing, and drywall are level and compatible

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding, and hardware.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects.
• Adhere to established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.

• Excellent physical condition and dexterity

• Proven experience as a carpenter (3+ years preferred).
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Proficient in basic math skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High school diploma; Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is preferred.
