You will

  • Support and manage a small team of Development Accountants, providing leadership and mentorship to team members
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of and status of all aspects of the projects in your portfolio and regularly meet with project teams
  • Manage and maintain project proformas and cost reports, including cash flow projections, for complex development projects within the Anthem Portfolio
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure accuracy of cost and financial reporting for projects, with a special focus on ensuring accurate cashflow reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze project performance with an eye to identifying risks and opportunities early in the process.
  • Prepare, analyze and report monthly variance analysis on project budgets and cash flows
  • Review Construction Loan Draws and liaise with cost consultants/lenders
  • Review account analysis and reconciliations
  • Review working paper files for project entities
  • Assist in the audit preparation for project entities
  • Ad-hoc analysis and projects as required

You have

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar management role
  • Experience with leadership
  • A Professional Accounting Designation
  • Real Estate development accounting experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Yardi (an asset)
  • Experience with cash management, budgeting, and financial reporting
  • Proven ability handling high volume in a fast-paced work environment with multiple demands
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills; must have the ability to communicate effectively in a team environment
  • The ability to present project information to various levels of Anthem management and are comfortable taking an active role in project meetings

Estimated annual salary range is $115,000.00 - $130,000.00, based on experience.
