ATS Traffic is looking for Installation Labourers to join our Edmonton team for the 2024 season! This position will be primarily responsible for installation of traffic and construction safety products as signs, posts, guardrail, overhead signs, parking curbs, speed bumps, solar beacons, and crash systems.

The Installer role is fundamental to the success of ATS Traffic and our customer satisfaction.

Do you have road construction, construction, or landscaping experience? Do you enjoy working independently, both with your hands as well as providing top notch customer service? If so, we want to hear from you!

• Install required products in a safe, professional and timely manner
• Advise customers on their installation needs and recommend additional products or services
• Resolve any client issues with their Installations, leave a clean jobsite
• Maintain Installation equipment, company truck and associated inventories
• Understand and perform basic traffic control needs
• General yard organization and maintenance
• Assist with shipping and rentals as required

• A valid Non-GDL (non-graduated) Class 5 Driver's License and a Clean 3-Year Regular Drivers Abstract is required to drive our company vehicles.
• Own method of transportation to get to and from work is preferred.
• As this is a safety-sensitive role, all candidates must undergo and pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Test. Note: All safety-sensitive positions have a zero tolerance policy marijuana, medical or recreational.
• Experience in carpentry in residential/commercial construction projects, home renovation projects, DIY carpentry projects, building decks, and fences.
• Experience in operating hand and power tools in a safe manner.
• Ability to lift 55lbs unassisted and 35lbs overhead.
• Capability to stand, crouch, and kneel for long periods.
• Comfortable operating hand and power tools in a safe manner
• Any previous experience operating a skid-steer, telehandler, or AWP is an asset.
• Experience in either Traffic Control or traffic safety related experience is an asset, however ATS covers the cost and provides ALL training and tickets to get you started!
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): All you need to bring is a pair of CSA Approved Safety Boots on your first day - we will cover the rest.

This position may be required to work overtime including evenings, weekends and out of town work.
