The opportunity
As a Senior Manager, you will be a part of US Corporate Tax practice. We help our clients identify and solve their US compliance obligations and assist them in successfully aligning all of the different areas of taxation into a benefit-driven strategy. You will be offered excellent opportunities for training, learning and career advancement.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in and supervising multiple and challenging tax engagements.
  • Contributing to the delivery of compliance services and innovative tax planning ideas for our diverse clients.
  • Demonstrating a thorough understanding of tax concepts and application of tax knowledge as it relates to U.S. Corporate federal and state income tax compliance.
  • Preparing and reviewing U.S. corporate and partnership tax returns for multinational clients.
  • Conducting tax research at federal and state levels, thoroughly analyzing U.S. cross-border tax issues and drafting technical memos related to specific client matters.
  • State nexus analysis and familiarity with the Canada-US Tax Treaty.
  • Establishing and maintaining long-term working relationships with clients.
  • Team-based approach to problem solving.

A successful candidate will have:

  • An undergraduate degree in a related field
  • US CPA Designation or US Enrolled Agent Designations
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent supervisory, analytical, and leadership ability
  • A commitment to learning in a tax technology environment
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines
  • Process oriented with excellent documentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
