You must have good safety awareness, good communication & competent decision-making skills, and a desire to perform requested duties with a focus on safety and appropriate precautions. Description:

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.

• Perform diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues accurately.

• Repair or replace defective parts and components in vehicles.

• Complete scheduled maintenance services according to manufacturer recommendations.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop area and tools.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle repairs and maintenance needs.

• Keep abreast of industry developments and advancements in automotive technology.

• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while performing repair and maintenance tasks.

• Utilize diagnostic equipment and specialized tools effectively to diagnose and repair vehicles.

• Document all repair and maintenance work performed accurately.

Requirements

• 2- 5 years' experience in the automotive industry
• Valid class 5 driver's license
• Reliable transportation to/from work
• Comfortable with work both inside & outside shop environments
• Willing to travel out on service calls if required
• Maintain regular service intervals
• Strong electrical diagnostic troubleshooting
• Knowledge in modern emission system control device operation, diagnosis, and repair.
• Logical mechanical powertrain troubleshooting
• Comfortable in the use of OEM electronic diagnostic equipment
• Update and maintain service records
• Comfortable with occasional heavy equipment repair and service
• Maintain safe operation of hand tools & power tools
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Knowledge in proper hazardous waste disposal
