Hybrid Work Model

At Assent, we proudly embrace a remote-first work model, valuing the flexibility and autonomy it provides our team. We also acknowledge the intangible benefits of occasional in-person workdays. For team members situated within 50 kms/31 miles of our five global offices in Ottawa, Eldoret, Penang, Columbus, and Amsterdam, you can expect to come into the office at least one day a week. Similarly, those near our co-working spaces in Nairobi and Toronto are encouraged to work onsite once a month.

Job Description

Based in Ottawa, you'll gain hands-on experience with quality lead management, strategic account planning, and cutting-edge CRM tools, setting the stage for your professional growth. You'll collaborate with peers and leaders and engage in meaningful projects that drive real business results, all while being supported by a passionate team committed to your success.   • Assist with quality checks on Marketing Qualified Leads to understand lead quality standards.
  • Help in identifying potential Sales Qualified Leads from sources like webinars, conferences, and content downloads, learning about lead qualification.
  • Support in creating account plans with the Business Development team, gaining insights into account strategy.
  • Contribute to maintaining engagement with leads, learning about effective communication strategies.
  • Participate in a variety of Business Development tasks to experience different aspects of the field.
  • Work on projects assigned by management to develop specific skills and contribute to business goals.
  • Observe interactions with compliance leaders to learn about the role of compliance in business growth.
  • Use CRM and Sales Enablement tools, focusing on their importance in managing and monitoring sales activities.
  • Attend weekly meetings to learn how to provide effective market feedback.
  • Support the scheduling of qualified appointments, understanding the process of driving pipeline growth.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing University or College education in Business Administration or a related field;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English - you communicate clearly, concisely and with tact;
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills - you are able to work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders;
  • This role is based in Ottawa, Canada - successful candidates must be able to work in our office up to 3 days a week
