Team Harding is on the lookout for a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. With a minimum of 3 years of experience under your belt and proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office, you'll be responsible for managing the entire accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to procedures. This is a full-time, permanent position based in our new office, conveniently located in the Kanata West business park.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the accounts payable process, including invoice receipt, PO matching, pricing verification, and posting
• Monitor and manage the AP email inbox, responding to inquiries and resolving issues
• Ensure prompt and accurate payment processing within vendor terms
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Manage monthly HST reporting and remittance
• Oversee the corporate credit card program, including monthly reconciliation, receipt tracking and payment
• Support financial close procedures by performing GL reconciliations and inventory cut-off reviews
• Assist with various ad-hoc projects and requests as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounts payable role
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Jonas software is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
