The Role:
- Document patient care services by charting in-patient records
- Provide compassionate and meaningful care by employing shared decision making with your patients, and collaborating with other health care practitioners to ensure comprehensive care
- Educate patients on appropriate testing, treatments and care plans subject to their health history and wellness goals
- Provide ongoing clinical support to patients as they navigate their journey, includes managing and adjusting the treatment plan based on changes in the patient's progress against established goals
- Complete required onboarding, engage in quality assurance processes, and adhere to organization guidelines, policies, and protocols
- Professional development opportunities and continuing education support
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Be registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
- Hold a valid Nurse Practitioner Certification
- Be familiar with self-employment practices, including professional liability and malpractice insurance
- Valid ACLS / BLS certification
- Valid work authorization: Canadian citizen or a Canadian Permanent Resident
An asset:
- Experience in or a passion for pediatrics
- Previous experience in a private medical practice
- A burning desire to work alongside an interdisciplinary team of health professionals redefining centralized medicine as we know it
