The Opportunity: Are you looking to build a panel of patients while working alongside an integrated team of health care practitioners? Do you have the desire to grow your individual practice while being supported by a team of diverse professionals with similar values?

The Role:

  • Document patient care services by charting in-patient records
  • Provide compassionate and meaningful care by employing shared decision making with your patients, and collaborating with other health care practitioners to ensure comprehensive care
  • Educate patients on appropriate testing, treatments and care plans subject to their health history and wellness goals
  • Provide ongoing clinical support to patients as they navigate their journey, includes managing and adjusting the treatment plan based on changes in the patient's progress against established goals
  • Complete required onboarding, engage in quality assurance processes, and adhere to organization guidelines, policies, and protocols
  • Professional development opportunities and continuing education support

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
  • Hold a valid Nurse Practitioner Certification
  • Be familiar with self-employment practices, including professional liability and malpractice insurance
  • Valid ACLS / BLS certification
  • Valid work authorization: Canadian citizen or a Canadian Permanent Resident

An asset:

  • Experience in or a passion for pediatrics
  • Previous experience in a private medical practice
  • A burning desire to work alongside an interdisciplinary team of health professionals redefining centralized medicine as we know it
