Nurse Practitioner – Calgary Clinic – Chronic Pain & MSK Outpatient Program
About the Job
Satori Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about delivering meaningful, hands-on care in a new specialty outpatient clinic focusing on chronic pain, musculoskeletal disorders, and motor vehicle accident recovery in northeast Calgary.
Within the full scope of your practice, you will work as a multidisciplinary collaborative healthcare team member to conduct comprehensive assessments of chronic health conditions to make evidence-based diagnoses and treatment decisions in an outpatient setting.
Your role will include conducting patient assessments, diagnosing and treating chronic conditions, and developing personalized care plans with a focus on health promotion. Collaborating with a diverse healthcare team, you will be able to make a significant impact in your patient's lives by providing them with high-quality and well-coordinated healthcare.

Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional clinic-based outpatient care to patients
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations to diagnose and treat patients' chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions
- Prescribe medications and therapies within the scope of practice, monitoring patient response and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures
- Develop and implement personalized care plans for patients, focusing on health promotion and disease prevention
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless quality patient care
- Participate in the Satori Collaborative Health Program
Requirements
- A valid unrestricted Alberta (All-Ages or Adult-Only) Nurse Practitioner license
- A minimum of two year's practice experience in a primary care setting
- Proven clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, demonstrating competence in patient care
- The ability to use evidence-based practice to formulate diagnoses and establish comprehensive, holistic and therapeutic care plans
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, experience with Accuro is an asset
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
- Ability to follow the hours of the clinic which may include evenings and weekends
