We currently require a Registered Respiratory Therapist who will complement our teams in PFT and Home Oxygen. In this position you will work at multiple Careica Health locations within Calgary and immediate surrounding areas. This is a casual position and will require a commitment to a scheduled on-call rotation.

Careica Health's RRTs are highly skilled healthcare professionals who evaluate, treat and maintain a client's cardiopulmonary function as part of the healthcare team. They educate and equip clients with the tools they need for successful therapy, while monitoring to ensure effective treatment. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform oxygen assessments, document/communicate findings and make recommendations to the appropriate healthcare providers.
• Work in our Pulmonary Function Laboratory providing diagnostic testing on patients referred to our laboratory.
• Procure and analyze arterial blood gas samples.
  

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO I NEED FOR THIS ROLE?

• Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy (registered with CRTA).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn various software.
• Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License and acceptable Driver's Abstract.
• Ability to travel to client homes within Calgary and surrounding communities.
