We are currently searching for a Team Lead/ Shipping Associate for our Mississauga warehouse. Selected individuals must have 2+ years of previous experience in a supervisor position. Location: MississaugaPay Rate: $24/hour.Shift (Day Shift Only): 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Duties:

• Lead the team of production staff in the daily processes.
• Monitor employee's performance, identify, and resolve issues and concerns.
• Understand the scope of work and help to maintain the organization of the workflow in the shop to effectively meet targets and deadlines.
• Responsible for ensuring jobs are performed safely, and correctly.
• Training and assisting in training new employees.
• Planning out daily tasks and delegating duties to members of the department
• Oversee loading and unloading customers or incoming shipments.
• Job lotting and prepare shipment according to pick list and ensure all orders maintain quality standards.
• Use computer for necessary input/output information.
• Organizing material and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Qualifications:

• 2 + years of proven leadership skills
• Counterbalance Forklift Certification and Operation Experience
• Basic Computer Skills
• Ability to read a Tape Measure
• Hand/power tools experience
• Able to lift up to 60lbs
• Strong communication skills: Highly Proficient in English (both written and verbal)
• Organization & attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Independently motivated
