Salary:

The Superintendent is responsible for creating a high level of community satisfaction by providing administrative and timely repair services and maintaining tidy grounds at the designated property in a safe and efficient manner. The Superintendent should aim to establish themselves as an asset to the building they are responsible for and maintain the comfort, safety and welfare of the owners at all times. The Building's Superintendent is the first line of contact for owners and should strive to create a strong rapport within their building.

The Superintendent is to complete regular upkeep for the building, which includes monitoring and responding to maintenance work order requests. Work orders can include but are not limited to:

  • Unplug toilets and sinks
  • Painting, Staining, and Varnishing
  • Interior lamp replacement
  • Replace ceiling tiles
  • Adjustment of time clocks
  • Building inspection rounds
  • Closet troubleshooting & repairs
  • Drywall repair and Caulking
  • Setting up elevator for move ins or move outs
  • Sorting Recycling Materials
  • Garbage to curb Valet Service
  • Daily General Debris Pickup
  • Power Washing
  • Building inspection rounds
  • Maintaining ground floor planters & roof patio garden
  • Maintain care for company provided equipment
  • Key fob hardware adjustments as required
  • Checking and applying warranty items for any deficiencies
  • Proficiently and safely use equipment and chemicals
  • Ballast Replacement-Interior;
  • Pre & post inspection of roof top patio and party room after each booking.
  • Faucet repair;
  • Standard toilet troubleshooting and repair
  • Unlock doors for residents;
  • Push garbage bins to the garbage room
  • Replace light bulbs
  • Maintenance the building systems, like drum drips
  • Lifting and installing
  • Laying down mulch;
  • Sweeping walkways & Parking lots;
  • Shovelling Snow and salting stairs
  • Additional tasks as assigned by Condominium Manager

Please note this position does include a rotating on-call schedule
