Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards. Monitor and analyze financial performance of multiple sites, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Provide recommendations to improve financial efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Month-end close (journal entries, account reconciliations, etc.) and financial review analysis for multiple ledgers
  • Variance Analysis- quantitative analysis compared to budget, forecast and prior year for business units.
  • Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities and collaborate with site managers to develop and implement cost control measures. Monitor expenditures, analyze cost trends, and provide guidance on cost optimization strategies across sites.
  • Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Conduct periodic audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Operational Support: Collaborate with site managers and operational teams to analyze and optimize business processes. Provide financial insights to support decision-making related to resource allocation, capacity planning, and investment opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA qualification is preferred.
  • Experience in percentage of completion accounting
  • Experience in forecasting
  • Experience in a dynamic reporting network (multiple locations, countries, currencies, etc.)
  • Minimum of 5 years of directly related work experience in Finance or Accounting
  • Proven experience in financial management, preferably in a multi-site or multi-entity environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, financial analysis, and budgeting.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems
  • MS Word (proficient), Excel (Advanced - XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF, Text to Columns, Charts, etc.), PowerPoint (Advanced)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
  • Must be flexible/adaptable and very comfortable with ambiguity, quickly identify and prioritize needs and be a self-starter.
  • Proven track record in Process improvements
  • OneStream experience preferred by not required.
  • D-365 experience preferred not required.
