Responsibilities of the Role

This dynamic role is all about driving growth! You'll contribute to the expansion of our advisor base by showcasing Picton Mahoney's innovative investment strategies using a consultative sales approach, sealing the deal on new business opportunities. Working closely with the Vice President, Retail Sales, you'll not only support the team but also brainstorm strategies to supercharge overall sales and client base expansion. As you assist External Wholesalers in devising killer business plans and identifying avenues for sales growth in designated territories, you'll be at the forefront of our growth trajectory. Exceeding activity targets, nurturing relationships, and leveraging cutting-edge investment solutions like Hedge Funds and Liquid Alternatives in Canada will be your forte. Plus, your insights and contributions during team meetings and strategic planning sessions will play a pivotal role in shaping our firm's upward trajectory. The Qualifications and Experience Required

The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field and either have completed or be working towards the Canadian Securities Course certification or CIM, with additional credentials like CFA considered advantageous. They should boast a minimum of 3 years' sales experience in finance, possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and bilingualism in French is a strong asset. Being a highly motivated self-starter with innovative sales tactics is crucial, alongside stellar interpersonal abilities and adeptness in organizing and prioritizing sales plans. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and prior experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, is expected. Openness to occasional travel is necessary for this role.
