The Account Manager – Outside Sales is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and developing relationships with existing customers. A hybrid of in-office, on-site, and on-the-road, this role's responsibilities include educating customers on available products and services; training customers' employees on the proper use and maintenance of our products; providing information and preparing quotes; expanding our customer base by identifying and prospecting for leads at events and through social media; preparing and delivering presentations on our products and services; participating in sales functions and other corporate events; and networking at trade shows and other industry events.

Responsibilities
– Establish, maintain, and develop relationships with existing customers
– Build customer base by identifying and connecting with prospects
– Provide customers with information on new products and enhancements
– Train customers and their staff on use and maintenance of products
– Build pipeline, forecast monthly sales, and identify business opportunities
– Analyze market trends and competitor activities, and plan accordingly– Ensure customer satisfaction and solicit end-user feedback
– Update databases with new customer information, and diarize follow-up
– Negotiate with customers and ensure compliance with agreements
– Work across departments on proposals and marketing initiatives
– Deliver presentations and attend events and tradeshows
Requirements

Requirements

– At least three (3) years of experience in HVAC or related industries, with track record of success in B2B sales, customer service, and relationship management
– Experience with cooling towers, humidification, and portable air conditioning products and technology preferred
– Strong knowledge of HVAC systems in buildings
– Fully comfortable with MS Office, Salesforce, and virtual meeting technology
– Outstanding networking, presentation, and communication skills (English)
– Excellent organization and time management skills
– Keen attention to detail and focus on solutions
– Willingness to travel and work outside of regular business hours as needed
– Valid Alberta driver's licence and access to reliable vehicle
