Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance AnalystJob ID: AT669497778Location: Richmond, BCOverview:The Senior QA Analyst will perform hands-on testing, both automated and manual, in medium to complex projects and at times support multiple parallel project teams. The Senior QA Analyst needs to have extensive skills in test automation, performance test, and API/integration testing. Prefer candidates with experience in Azure DevOps, DB2, SQL Server, Katalon Studio, Selenium, Java, Web Service, Ready API, SoapUI, and LoadRunner. Placement of this role will be in a team working on a funnel of innovation projects. The individual must be a self-starter and experienced in creating a quality framework for new products. Experience with new product development is an asset.What you will be doing:
  • Working within an Agile/DevOps software development environment
  • Collaborating with multiple teams and product stakeholders
  • Participating in agile/scrum ceremonies including incident triage and grooming sessions
  • Analyzing and understanding requirements to prepare test strategy and plan including test estimates
  • Creating test plans, test cases, and test data
  • Developing and maintaining automated test scripts per automation framework
  • Working with continuous integration/delivery processes and managing automated test scripts in the CI/CD Pipelines
  • Executing functional and non-function test cases manually or via automation
  • Reporting test results including defect/bugs including steps to reproduce, screenshots, impact and severity, and exposing in a QA Dashboard
  • Establishing Quality Gates
  • Adhering to QA standards and processes
  • Providing feedback to improve team performance
  • Mentoring junior QA staff
What you must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) majors, and 9 to 12 years (real-time) work experience in information systems operations environment in system analysis or development.
  • 7 years of experience testing software, of which 5 years using automation
  • 3 years working in an agile development environment.
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) training and certification like SAFe Practitioner, or willingness to take the course and obtain certification within 2 months from commencement of work.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Able to comply with Employee and Contractor Mandatory Vaccine Policy
