Stone Creek Resorts Inc. is a well-established Alberta company that delivers our signature hospitality and luxury lifestyle experiences at our owned and operated world-class golf resorts Silvertip Resort - Canmore, AB, and Eagle Ranch Resort - Invermere, BC. With a large-scale multiyear development plan for residential and resort accommodations, associated commercial uses, Silvertip Resort is one of Canada's largest resort real estate developments.


The Silvertip development plan comprises luxury estate lots, condominium / multifamily units, and resort accommodations with a projected $50 - 100 million in annual real estate sales. Among the future development plans for Silvertip Village are 1,290 resort accommodation units, a conference centre, a gondola, a spa and wellness center, as well as 380 residential units and 850 staff housing units.


Stone Creek Resorts is seeking candidates for a newly created position, Senior Construction Manager. Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

  • Manage and supervise the construction team assigned to the Project to meet budget within defined scope of time.
  • Lead a team of construction professionals in a senior management role.
  • Lead a constructability analyses.
  • Provide field execution leadership during various phases of the Project.
  • Oversee construction activities and monitor the execution of the works in respect of cost, schedule, quality and objectives.
  • Confirming that provisions have been made for resources and training necessary to carry out the project.
  • Confirm the pre-operational verification activities to ensure that the facilities can be commissioned on time and within budget.

Knowledge, Expertise and Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in Construction Management roles with five years experience in a senior role for the main contractor on projects >$1B
  • A minimum of three years of infrastructure/heavy civil experience on projects >$1B required.
  • Combination of contractor side and owner side experience an asset.

Does this describe you?

  • You have a post-secondary degree in Engineering, Construction, or the appropriate combination of education and depth of experience required to achieve the mandate.
  • You have expert knowledge of materials means and methods, and equipment involved in the construction of heavy works.
  • You are proficient in reading and interpreting contract requirements, including contractor/client negotiations.
  • You have expert knowledge in construction safety standards with ability to drive safety culture.
  • You are results oriented with extremely high work ethic, stringent quality standards and have can-do attitude.
  • You have advanced communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to maintain professional and effective working relationships with Owner and related team.
  • You have advanced ability to engage team and drive performance.
  • You have strong understanding of risk management.

Are you willing to relocate to the Stone Creek Head Office in downtown Calgary, Alberta? Please note that frequent travel to company's two resorts in Canmore, AB and Invermere, BC will be required.
