General Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to lead our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a custom production facility, with prior supervision of staff. The candidate must also be knowledgeable in CAD and have completed Six Sigma training. Strong leadership skills are essential for this role.

The successful candidate will have thorough understanding of functional and theoretical Assembly standards and the ability to safely instruct or use manufacturing equipment and tools. Candidate must have strong knowledge of millwright practices and some construction knowledge will be an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the production team, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Plan, execute, and finalize production projects within budget and timeline.
  • Develop and maintain production plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Monitor and report on production progress to stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate production risks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the production team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in manufacturing
  • Prior experience supervising staff
  • Proficiency in CAD software
  • Six Sigma training and certification
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
