Working Foreman

Job Description:

Rego Construction Group is looking for an experienced Working Foreman to lead crews and work alongside them on construction projects, including concrete, demolition, and hoisting and rigging.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crew members on job sites.
• Work alongside the crew to complete daily tasks.
• Enforce health and safety rules and make sure all work is done safely.
• Train and guide staff on proper work methods and safe work practices.
• Assign daily tasks and make sure work is completed properly.
• Communicate regularly with the Project Coordinator about job progress, issues, and site needs.
• Make sure the crew has the tools, equipment, and materials needed to complete their work.
• Help solve problems on-site and keep work moving.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience working as a Construction Foreman.
• Experience working in demolition or concrete.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Government of Canada Secret (Level II) security clearance.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Basic construction health and safety training, including WHMIS and Supervisor Health and Safety Awareness.
• Able to lead a crew and work alongside team members.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.

Additional Assets: (Preferred but Not Required)

• Valid Working at Heights certification.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Experience in hoisting and rigging.
