National Account Manager

Falco Logistics is a fast-growing freight brokerage in Ontario expanding into the U.S. We're looking for a National Account Manager to own and grow our larger shipper accounts across Canada and the U.S. You'll report directly to the leadership team and be paid on the growth you deliver.

What you'll do

• Own relationships with national and multi-lane shipper accounts and grow them through new lanes and new business.
• Win new accounts, quote competitive rates and protect gross margin on every load.
• Work with our carrier sales and operations teams so freight is covered and delivered on time.
• Run regular account reviews, resolve service issues quickly and report on pipeline and gross profit.
• Coordinate loads, assign carriers and resolve in-transit issues so freight is covered and delivered on time.
• Track market trends and provide accurate, margin-protecting quotes.

What you bring

• 3+ years of freight brokerage sales or account management experience, with proven success as a full-service, end-to-end freight broker.
• Previous experience as an over-the-road (OTR) freight broker, with in-depth knowledge of the OTR trucking market, including full truckload (FTL) and spot freight.
• An established book of business or existing shipper relationships, with numbers you can share.
• Strong shipper and carrier relationships.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, in-office brokerage.
• Comfort with a TMS and basic office software (BrokerWare experience is an asset).
• Knowledge of Canada-U.S. cross-border freight is a strong plus.
• National account experience is highly beneficial.

Compensation: Base salary from $80,000 CAD plus uncapped commission on gross profit.

Location: On-site, Ontario.
