  • Strong React development experience with SMART on FHIR, including authorization, launch context, scopes, and FHIR API integration.

  • Experience with NextGen Connect (Mirth) and HL7 v2, including message transformation, validation, routing, acknowledgements, and production support.

  • Configure and maintain NextGen Connect (Mirth) channels for HL7 v2 message processing.

  • Implement subscription lifecycle management, event filtering, notifications, retries, error handling, and monitoring.

  • Integrate enterprise applications with FHIR-based Pub/Sub services and replace polling workflows with real-time event processing.

  • Perform unit, integration, regression, conformance, and end-to-end testing.

  • Implement secure authentication, authorization, audit logging, and privacy controls for healthcare information.

  • Produce technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • FHIR R5 Subscription model and R5 Subscription Backport.

  • AWS SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
