Licensed Diesel Mechanic I (Red Seal) - Saskatoon

Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Pay: $42.00 to $45.00 per hour ($45-$48 with shift Premium included)

A 12:30 start gives you your mornings back. Appointments, school runs and errands happen on your time, you still clock out at nine, and your weekends are yours.

This is a Red Seal seat on a current fleet with proper diagnostic equipment and a shop that's actually organized. If you're chasing parts and fighting for bay time where you are now, this is worth a conversation.

• Full diagnostics, overhaul and repair on tractors and trailers
• Major components: engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, fuel systems, complete assemblies
• Air and hydraulic brakes, steering, wheel bearings, suspension, HVAC
• Preventive maintenance at all levels, documented properly
• Flagging warrantable repairs on the repair order
• Road testing to confirm the repair
• Running your own board with minimal supervision

• Red Seal or Saskatchewan Journeyperson Certificate as a Truck and Transport Mechanic
• 5+ years hands-on tractor-trailer experience
• Class 3 licence with air brake endorsement, or the ability to obtain it within six months
• Your own hand tools
• Current registration with the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission (SATCC)

• $42.00 to $45.00 per hour
