Lumber - Container Unloader

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Lumber Associate – Container Unloader to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently unloading containers of lumber and related building materials, handling heavy products, maintaining accurate inventory, and following all workplace safety procedures.

Duties

• Safely unload containers of lumber using appropriate heavy equipment, including forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes, while following all safety protocols.
• Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of lumber and construction materials for proper storage and organization.
• Load and unload materials efficiently and ensure products are placed correctly to maximize warehouse space and accessibility.
• Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, update stock records, and support accurate order processing.
• Inspect materials for damage and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures when handling materials and operating equipment.
• Work effectively with team members to meet daily unloading, storage, and warehouse operational targets.
