Paid Growth Lead, Analytics - Fully remote within Canada

Our client scales growth channels for some of the world's top education and consumer brands, such as Good Inside, Native Shoes, UBC, and Earth Rated. But more importantly, they only work with good people.

Job Description:

We believe digital-first work has the unique potential to unlock growth, connection, craft, and freedom. Our mission is to bring that potential to life for our team and clients. We deliver measurable long-term growth outcomes, act as an extension of in-house teams, and turn data into insight. This has led to high-profile industry awards, including Search Engine Land's Boutique SEO Agency of the Year and Globe and Mail's Canada's Fastest-growing Companies.

We're hiring a Paid Growth Lead to help us fulfill our mission. This is a full-time, remote-first position.

High Level

We're looking for a talented Paid Growth Lead to be responsible for owning the strategy and execution for your client's paid growth programs. We take a “soft-eyes” view of what ‘paid growth' includes. You won't just be cruising the ad platforms - you'll manage visuals, provide CRO recommendations, and think strategically about your clients' CAC to LTV. This is a full-time, remote-first position, reporting to the Group Director of Paid Growth, best suited to someone with experience managing 5- and 6-figure monthly budgets.

Responsibilities

-Campaign Management: You are proficient in both Meta Ads and Google Ads platforms. You stay current with algorithm updates, platform changes, and industry trends to inform your strategies. You can navigate platforms to troubleshoot, optimize, and execute campaigns effectively.

- Strategic Ownership: You own client outcomes and develop data-driven paid media strategies in consultation with your Director, ensuring the optimal mix of channels for each account. You project-manage your campaigns end-to-end; scoping the work, delegating effectively, and delivering on time, on budget, and to a high standard, while connecting day-to-day execution back to the strategic plan.

- Client Ownership: You take full ownership of the client relationship and serve as the primary point of contact for senior-level stakeholders. You learn your clients' businesses deeply and demonstrate that you care deeply about their success.

- Culture-add and Team Player: You genuinely care about your team of coworkers, bringing contagious enthusiasm for both learning from them and helping them level up. You're uniquely yourself, while embodying Flywheel's values and mission.

- AI Leverage: You lean into Flywheel's AI systems and workflows to supercharge the quality of your work and increase your individual impact across campaign research, creative testing, and performance analysis. You apply strategic oversight and client-specific judgment on top, and are proficient in knowing when to trust the machine and when to override it.

Qualifications

The right person has 3-6 years' experience or equivalent skills in the following:

- Campaign Strategy (planning budgets, determining platform, targets, etc)

- Google Ads (Search, Display, Video, Performance Max)

- Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram)

- Campaign optimization best practices

- Social ad creative strategy and briefing

- Client-ready communications

- Project and client management

- Google Analytics

Bonus points:

- Copywriting proficiency

- CRO Analysis proficiency

- Experience working with Hubspot

- Experience working in Notion

- Experience working with Claude

- eCommerce/tech/education experience

- Experience working with creatives and content calendars (e.g. photographer, videographer)

- Other advertising networks (TikTok, LinkedIn, content affiliates, Snap, etc)

- Email marketing experience

- Graphic design (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc) or photography experience.
