Title: Senior DevOPS/Engineer

Description:

• Leads the automation, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and operational enablement of enterprise platform environments and services in Microsoft Azure.
• The role establishes and maintains CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, environment configuration, release automation, observability, security controls, secrets management, and operational tooling needed to support reliable delivery across development, testing, staging, and production.
• Working with developers, architects, testers, cybersecurity specialists, and operational teams, the Senior DevOps Engineer improves deployment consistency, reduces manual effort, strengthens traceability, and supports secure and repeatable releases.
• The role also applies senior software-development experience to develop new tools, scripts, utilities, and platform services, and to assist developers with troubleshooting application, build, integration, pipeline, and deployment issues.
• The role monitors platform health, supports incident response and recovery, and develops runbooks and knowledge-transfer materials that improve the scalability, resilience, supportability, and long-term sustainability of the enterprise platform.

• Experience designing and operating DevOps practices for large cloud-based enterprise applications.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure, platform services, networking, identity, security, and monitoring.

• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application, integration, infrastructure, and database changes.

• Experience with infrastructure as code, configuration management, containerization, and deployment automation.

• Experience supporting microservices, APIs, distributed applications, and multiple delivery environments.

• Experience developing software, scripts, utilities, APIs, or internal tools using one or more modern programming languages.

• Experience applying software-development practices such as source control, code review, unit testing, debugging, refactoring, and technical documentation.

• Experience assisting developers with troubleshooting application code, dependencies, builds, automated tests, integrations, pipelines, and deployments.

• Experience implementing logging, monitoring, alerting, dashboards, tracing, and operational health checks.

• Experience managing secrets, certificates, environment configuration, access controls, and secure deployment practices.

• Experience supporting release management, environment readiness, rollback, disaster recovery, and production stabilization.

• Experience troubleshooting complex application, deployment, infrastructure, performance, availability, and integration issues.

• Experience collaborating with developers, architects, security specialists, testers, and operations teams.

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for enterprise platform applications.

• Provision and configure cloud infrastructure and platform services using approved automation practices.

• Develop and maintain tools, scripts, utilities, APIs, reusable automation, and supporting platform components that improve developer productivity and operational efficiency.

• Contribute production-quality code where required, including unit tests, debugging, code reviews, documentation, and ongoing maintenance.

• Assist development teams with troubleshooting application code, dependencies, build failures, automated tests, integrations, environment configuration, pipelines, and deployment issues.

• Manage development, testing, staging, and production environments.

• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, and operational reporting.

• Support secure configuration, secrets management, vulnerability remediation, and compliance controls.

• Coordinate releases, environment readiness, deployment validation, rollback, and stabilization.

• Improve reliability, scalability, recoverability, developer experience, and operational efficiency.

• Diagnose and resolve application, infrastructure, pipeline, deployment, and production issues.

• Maintain source code, runbooks, configuration records, technical documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials.

Skills

DevOps and Automation Experience - 35%
