Sales Associate and Customer Service Specialist

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will provide in-store consultations along with phone and email support, helping customers understand organic certifications, sustainable materials, and the brand's history and manufacturing. This role emphasizes converting walk-in customers, building repeat-customer relationships, and delivering knowledgeable, attentive service.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized in-store consultations and customer service by phone and email.
• Sell luxury mattresses and guide customers through product demonstrations.
• Educate customers on mattress features, organic certifications, sustainable materials, and Naturepedic's brand history and manufacturing.
• Convert walk-in shoppers into customers through attentive discovery and professional recommendations.
• Build lasting relationships with repeat customers through responsive, knowledgeable support.
• Follow up with leads and respond promptly to customer inquiries.
• Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain an organized, welcoming, and professional store environment.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in retail sales.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with customer relationship management and point-of-sale systems.
• Strong active-listening and professional-communication skills.
• Reliability and a responsible, professional approach to customer service.
• Ability to develop and apply product knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications
