Camp Security Officer - Full Time - Conklin

Securiguard is now accepting applicants to join our team of Industrial Camp Security Officers. Securiguard has proven expertise in deploying security personnel into remote areas for work in mining camps, oil and gas sites (including pipelines) and hydroelectric facilities such as dams.

Location: Conklin

Type: Full Time

Schedule: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off

Time : 5 am to 5 pm

Pay rate: $22/hr

Important Requirements

• Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Candidates must be willing to maintain a clean-shaven face in accordance with site respiratory protection requirements.
• This position follows a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of the lodge, dormitories, and surrounding site.
• Monitor CCTV, access control systems, and site activities.
• Enforce lodge and dining hall rules while maintaining positive interactions with staff and contractors.
• Identify, document, and report security incidents, contraband, or suspicious activity.
• Complete reports, logs, and required computer-based data entry.
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies as required.
• Cross-train in additional site security functions, including patrol, access control, and monitoring duties.

Requirements

• Valid Alberta Security Licence.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean Driver's Abstract.
• Strong communication and computer skills.
• Able to work 12-hour day in a remote camp environment.
• Physically capable of conducting regular foot and vehicle patrols.
• First Aid and WHMIS certifications are considered assets.
