CNC Laser Operator - Part-Time

Worklynx Recruitment is hiring an experienced CNC Laser Operator on behalf of our client to provide part-time machinery relief coverage. Candidates must have hands-on experience operating CO2 laser cutting equipment.

This opportunity has the potential to transition to full-time employment based on business needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC CO2 laser cutting equipment to support production and provide relief coverage.
• Set up jobs and adjust machine settings according to work instructions.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and job orders.
• Load and unload materials and monitor the cutting process.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
• Identify and report equipment issues, cutting defects, or production concerns.
• Perform routine equipment checks and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Follow workplace safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on experience operating CNC CO2 laser cutting equipment is required.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow production instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with the production team.
• Reliable attendance and availability for part-time relief coverage.
