About The Nest Clinic

The Nest Clinic is a multidisciplinary integrative wellness clinic in Gastown, at 55 Water St, Suite 300, Vancouver. We are looking for a naturopathic physician to join our team on weekends.

Our team includes naturopathic doctors, a TCM doctor, acupuncturists, a chiropractor, lymphatic drainage and facial practitioners. We are known for fertility, hormones, pregnancy and postpartum care, women's health, skin health and IV therapy. Our patients come to us because they want to feel fully listened to, and because our practitioners talk to each other and work as a team.

We care a lot about how a visit feels. The space is calm and beautiful, and we want every patient to leave feeling safe, understood and hopeful.

The role

We are hiring a naturopathic physician (ND) for Saturdays and/or Sundays, 10am to 3pm. This is an independent contractor position, and there is room to add weekday shifts over time if that is something you want.

We already have two NDs at the clinic during the week, and our weekend demand is growing. Many of our patients work full time, are going through fertility treatment, or are juggling young kids, and weekends are often the only time they can come in. You would be the ND they can see on those days.

What you will do

• See your own patients for initial consultations and follow-ups, with a root-cause, personalized approach
• Support patients through fertility and IVF, pregnancy and postpartum, hormones and menopause, digestive health and overall wellness
• Order and interpret lab testing through LifeLabs, and write prescriptions within your scope
• Offer IV and injection therapy if you are certified, including iron IV (with a screening consult first), Myers, and NAD+ injections
• Refer and collaborate with our acupuncturists, chiropractor, TCM doctor and other practitioners so patients get joined-up care
• Keep charting and patient communication in Jane up to date

What the clinic provides

• A furnished treatment room in a calm, beautifully designed space in Gastown
• A hybrid of virtual and in person front desk and admin support for booking, billing, insurance claims (including direct billing) and LifeLabs invoicing
• Online booking and charting through Jane
• IV therapy setup with all products supplied by the clinic, plus a full emergency setup (AED, oxygen and epinephrine), so you are not fronting the cost of inventory or doing the ordering
• Marketing support, including Meta ads, our website and Instagram, to help fill your schedule
• An established patient base and steady new patient inquiries, especially in fertility and women's health
• A collaborative team that refers internally and communicates across practitioners

Who we are looking for

Required

• Licensed naturopathic physician in good standing with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC
• Your own professional liability insurance
• Available Saturdays and/or Sundays, 10am to 3pm, on a consistent basis
• Warm, clear communication with patients, and comfortable working as part of a team

Nice to have

• Prescriptive authority certification
• IV therapy certification and experience
• A special interest in fertility, pregnancy and postpartum, hormones or menopause
• An existing patient base you would like to bring with you
• Comfortable being part of our content, like short videos or Instagram posts
• Botox certification

Compensation and how to apply

This is a percentage split position, and the details are shared at the interview.
