About The Nest Clinic

The Nest Clinic is a multidisciplinary integrative wellness clinic in Gastown, at 55 Water St, Suite 300, Vancouver. We are looking for a registered massage therapist to join our team.

Our team includes naturopathic doctors, a TCM doctor, acupuncturists, a chiropractor, lymphatic drainage and facial practitioners. We are known for fertility, hormones, pregnancy and postpartum care, women's health and skin health. Our patients come to us because they want to feel fully listened to, and because our practitioners talk to each other and work as a team.

We care a lot about how a visit feels. The space is calm and beautiful, and we want every patient to leave feeling safe, understood and cared for.

The role

We are hiring a registered massage therapist (RMT) to join our team on weekday shifts. The clinic is open 8am to 8pm on weekdays, and we will work with you on the days and hours that suit you. This is an independent contractor position.

Massage is one of the services our patients ask for most. Many of them are pregnant, postpartum, going through fertility treatment, or carrying a lot of stress and tension from work and family life, and we want them to have an RMT on the team they can rely on.

What you will do

• Provide therapeutic massage treatments, with an assessment and a treatment plan for each patient
• Support patients through pregnancy, postpartum and the lead up to birth with prenatal and postnatal massage
• Help patients with stress, sleep, headaches, and neck, back and jaw tension
• Refer and collaborate with our acupuncturists, chiropractor, naturopathic doctors and other practitioners so patients get joined-up care
• Recommend home care and follow-up visits so patients get lasting results
• Keep charting and patient communication in Jane up to date

• A collaborative team that refers internally and communicates across practitioners

Who we are looking for

Required

• Registered massage therapist in good standing with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC
• Your own professional liability insurance
• Available for consistent weekday shifts
• Warm, clear communication with patients, and comfortable working as part of a team

Nice to have

• Training and experience in prenatal and postpartum massage
• Experience supporting patients through fertility treatment
• Extra modalities such as myofascial release, cupping, or jaw and TMJ work
• An existing patient base you would like to bring with you
• Comfortable being part of our content, like short videos or Instagram posts

Compensation and how to apply
