Restaurant Manager / Server

Love great food, warm service, and running a room that feels like family? Papa Pixel's is a family-run crêperie on historic Main Street Unionville. We serve sweet and savoury crêpes, homemade ice cream, and hot apple cider, and our regulars come back for the people as much as the crêpes. We're looking for a hands-on Manager who's active in every role of the restaurant. One hour you're greeting regulars and serving tables, the next you're running food, helping on the line, or leading the team through a rush. If you like being where the action is rather than behind a desk, you'll fit right in.

What you'll do

• Lead the team. Hire, train, schedule, and coach our front- and back-of-house crew, and run quick pre-shift huddles so everyone starts the day ready.
• Work every role. Serve tables, take orders, run food, help on the line, and cover the counter whenever needed.
• Own the floor. Keep service smooth, from seating and pacing to jumping in to bus, seat, or expedite when the rush hits.
• Make guests feel at home. Greet people, remember the regulars, and turn the occasional complaint into a fan.
• Run the numbers. Track daily sales, manage labour, and handle cash and POS reconciliation.
• Keep us stocked. Watch inventory, work with our suppliers, and place orders.
• Keep it safe. Uphold Ontario health, food-safety, and employment standards.

What you bring

• 2+ years of restaurant management or supervisory experience
• Experience with a POS system (Square, Clover, Toast, or similar)
• An Ontario Food Handler Certificate, or willingness to get one
• Clear communication, calm under pressure, and a knack for solving problems
• Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs
