Elevate Recruitment & Staffing is hiring a Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) for an established manufacturing client in Perth County. This is a full time, permanent role with guaranteed hours and a strong benefits package. Safety comes first on every job.

What youll do

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair high speed production and converting equipment, including conveyor systems
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and automation issues to keep downtime low
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives and control systems using schematics and diagnostic software
• Complete preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability
• Work with operators and production teams to solve recurring issues and improve machine efficiency
• Follow all safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout, and keep a clean, organized work area
• Take part in continuous improvement initiatives

Must Haves

• Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) certification
• Minimum 2 years working as a Red Seal in a manufacturing or packaging environment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
• PLC, HMI and automated control system troubleshooting experience
• Able to read blueprints, schematics and machine manuals
• Experience with diagnostic tools and computer based maintenance systems, including SAP

Nice to Haves

• Experience maintaining high speed packaging or converting equipment
• Familiarity with 5S, lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
