Cubicle Fugitive - 2 emplois
Hamilton, ON
Détails de l'emploi :
Cubicle Fugitive | Hamilton, Ontario | Full-Time, Permanent | Hybrid
Are you the kind of person who can take a vague client request, ask the right questions, and turn it into a thoughtful plan and deliverable? We're looking for a smart, resourceful, and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Cubicle Fugitive.
We're a busy, multidisciplinary brand, marketing, and web agency looking for someone who loves marketing, has a keen eye for design, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in figuring things out.
You'll work directly with clients, collaborate with our strategists, designers, and developers, and help bring everything from brand identities and advertising campaigns to websites and marketing materials to life.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate projects and clients. Work directly with clients to understand their needs, ask thoughtful questions, and turn ideas into clear, creative briefs and actionable plans. Coordinate projects from concept to completion, keeping clients informed and internal teams aligned.
- Manage creative production. Coordinate logos, advertising, brochures, presentations, websites, and other marketing materials. Gather assets, manage timelines and feedback, and work with our creative teams to deliver quality work.
- Research and shape strategy. Research clients, industries, competitors, audiences, and marketing trends to inform brand positioning, content strategies, and marketing recommendations.
- Develop content and campaigns. Depending on your strengths, support brand messaging, website content, social media, newsletters, and marketing campaigns, including planning, writing, scheduling, and proofreading.
- Support websites and digital marketing. Coordinate website updates, content migration, SEO, and digital marketing and advertising initiatives.
- Ensure quality and keep projects moving. Review deliverables for accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment. Anticipate challenges, identify missing information, and proactively recommend next steps. Support project estimates, proposals, and client reporting.
You'll Thrive Here If…
- You're a resourceful problem-solver. You think critically, ask insightful questions, and take initiative to investigate challenges and recommend solutions rather than simply passing along requests.
- You're exceptionally organized and detail-oriented. You manage competing priorities, anticipate what's next, and consistently deliver accurate, thoughtful work without needing constant direction.
- You're an excellent communicator and listener. You seek to understand what clients need, even when they struggle to articulate it, and translate complex or incomplete information into clear direction and actionable plans.
- You have a great eye for design. You appreciate strong visual communication, recognize when something isn't quite right, and care about the quality and consistency of everything we produce.
- You're curious, adaptable, and collaborative. You love learning, embrace variety, work well with others, and take ownership of your responsibilities in a busy agency environment.
What You Bring
Essential
- Approximately 1–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or creative project coordination, including relevant internship or co-op experience.
- Strong foundational knowledge of marketing, branding, and business communications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional client correspondence.
- Experience coordinating projects, managing deadlines, and collaborating with clients or creative teams.
- Confidence in learning new platforms and tools
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred. Relevant practical experience will also be considered.
Considered a strong asset
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: legal or professional services marketing, client account coordination, copywriting and communications, social media and digital marketing, website coordination, or creative production.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Canva and social media platforms, especially LinkedIn.
- Knowledge of content management systems.
- Ability to use Claude and other emerging AI search and research tools.
- Skills in managing Google Ads, Meta Ads, Reddit Ads, and Bing Ads
A Role That Can Grow with You
Our Marketing Coordinators gain experience across marketing, branding, creative management, client relationships, digital marketing, and communications. Over time, many naturally develop strengths in one of two areas:
- Marketing & Client Accounts: Client relationships, brand strategy, integrated marketing, digital advertising, and creative and digital project management.
- Brand & Communications: Brand messaging, writing, content strategy, social media, and communications campaigns.
We're open to candidates with experience in either area, as well as those still discovering where they'd like to specialize.
