TalentSphere has partnered with a well established and reputable Architecture a firm with an office in Calgary, to assist them in finding a talented Contract Administrator Assistant to join their talented team. Full scope CA candidates will also be considered. This firm are open to hiring a junior technologist who has some basic site visit or project coordination experience within Architecture, and who is keen to further developer their career in Contract Administration on a range of projects across Alberta. This firm have an excellent reputation for high-end and unique design and have an excellent portfolio of work encompassing both large scale developments as well as smaller projects across different sectors. This firm are continuing to grow and this is a great opportunity to join their collaborative team as they produce award winning projects and provide excellent service delivery to their clients across Western Canada.
THE JOB
The role will have you working closely with Contract Administrators to assist with a range of tasks including reviewing and tracking contract reports, change orders, issuing RFIs, Submittals, change notices and other documentation. In addition you will be utilising a database to log items relevant to each project, and liaising with contractors, subconsultants, project teams and city officials.
WHAT'S REQUIRED
The ideal candidate will possess a diploma or degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology, Construction or related. You will ideally have some experience working in an administrative type role or hands on role within an architecture, engineering or construction firm,
Some site experience coordinating projects, working with documentation, drawing review or permit submission packages is ideal.
