  • Monitor distributed applications using Prometheus, Grafana, and application logs.
  • Optimize MongoDB and PostgreSQL queries, indexes, and data-access patterns.
  • Participate in Agile planning, design reviews, code reviews, production releases, and incident resolution.
  • Identify application defects, security vulnerabilities, and opportunities for technical improvement.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on development experience with Java 8 or later.
  • Advanced experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and microservices.
  • Experience developing REST APIs and distributed backend services.
  • Hands-on experience with Angular or React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with Apache Kafka and asynchronous message processing.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
  • Experience deploying applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
  • CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, Maven, or Gradle.
  • Experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Spring Security.
  • Experience with JUnit, Postman, and performance-testing tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working within banking, payments, financial services, or another regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with PCI-DSS-aligned application controls.
  • Experience implementing Prometheus and Grafana monitoring.
  • Exposure to fraud detection, anomaly detection, or risk analytics integrations.
