General Labourer/Material Handler

We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual to fill the position of General Labourer / Material Handler at Accurate Manufacturing 4.0 Inc.

The General Labourer / Material Handler is responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials and work pieces throughout the facility, assisting with inventory tracking, preparing customer shipments, and supporting daily shop operations. This team member will also assist with general maintenance and custodial duties as required.

This position reports directly to the Shop Foreman.

Key Responsibilities:

• Move and transport materials, steel plates, and work pieces between departments safely and efficiently
• Assist with loading and unloading incoming and outgoing materials
• Prepare customer orders for shipment, including verifying materials, organizing orders, and securing loads as required
• Assist with inventory tracking, including measuring, marking, recording, and entering material information
• Maintain accurate identification and organization of materials in designated storage areas
• Assist with receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming materials
• Follow instructions from the Shop Foreman and other team leaders to support daily production priorities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the shop
• Perform routine housekeeping and general custodial duties as required
• Assist with general shop maintenance and other duties as assigned
  

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling environment is an asset but not required
• Forklift experience or certification is an asset
• Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
• Ability to safely handle and move heavy materials using appropriate equipment
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions, company procedures, and workplace safety requirements
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when identifying, tracking, and preparing materials
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stay organized and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workplace
