Who We Are

Envirosearch Operations was created in 2001 to specialize in providing water and wastewater operations services to non-municipal owners of water and wastewater treatment facilities in the Province of Ontario. At our heart, we believe in teamwork between Owners, Regulators, and our team to support the protection of both the public and the environment. Envirosearch Operations Inc. specializes in providing professional and operational services to industrial, commercial, institutional, and private sector owners.

Why Work for Us?

  • Challenging work opportunities and a varied routine – we never have the same day twice!
  • The opportunity to expand your skills and develop your role
  • Competitive compensation and benefit package

Are you the person who sees what needs to happen next, and makes sure it does? We are seeking an experienced Senior Executive Assistant to work closely with our President. This is a high-trust, hands-on role for someone who can anticipate needs, organize complex priorities, independently follow up on commitments, and deliver accurate work without constant direction.

What You Will Do

  • Keep a central register of executive commitments, deadlines, and follow-ups; proactively coordinate with managers and employees.
  • Prepare concise morning and end-of-day priority briefings, identify emerging issues, and recommend next steps.
  • Manage executive calendars, correspondence, meeting preparation, minutes, action items, and project administration.
  • Prepare and enter executive time records and work-order documentation using approved information sources.
  • Coordinate recurring office administration for the VP, Business Logistics (approximately 5–10% of the role).
  • Use Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and approved prompt-based AI tools effectively, and work with technical specialists on more complex improvements.

What You Bring

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in business, administration, communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Substantial experience supporting senior leaders or coordinating complex executive work.
  • Exceptional initiative, sound judgment, discretion, accuracy, and persistence in following through.
  • Strong communication, organization, and Microsoft 365 proficiency; confidence learning business systems and AI productivity tools.
  • Experience in engineering, environmental services, utilities, or another technical-services organization is an asset.

What Makes This Role Different

We are not looking for someone who simply waits for the next assignment. Success means working alongside the President: recognizing priorities, preparing the next step, and ensuring commitments do not fall through the cracks. You will have authority to follow up on assigned work, with clear boundaries around management and business decisions.

Apply

Please submit your résumé and a brief cover letter describing an example of when you proactively identified and resolved an important outstanding commitment. We appreciate all who express interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.

EOI is committed to an inclusive recruitment process. Accommodation is available upon request throughout the hiring process.
