This hands-on role is ideal for a collections professional who can drive cash collection results, reduce overdue accounts, resolve disputes, and support credit risk management while developing a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support Collection Specialists to achieve collection targets.
- Manage an assigned portfolio of accounts and follow up on overdue balances.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and develop strategies to reduce delinquent accounts.
- Resolve escalated collection issues and coordinate customer dispute resolution with internal departments.
- Support credit reviews, credit limit recommendations, and customer onboarding.
- Monitor team performance, prepare reports, and identify process improvements.
- Ensure accurate account documentation and compliance with credit and collections policies.
- 5+ years of experience in credit, collections, accounts receivable, or a related field.
- Previous team leadership, supervisory, or senior collections experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of collections, credit risk, and dispute resolution.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ERP systems, collections tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is an asset.
- CCP designation or related certification is an asset.
- Annual salary: $80,000–$85,000
