Registered Dental Hygienist

The Registered Dental Hygienist will support a general dentistry practice by providing routine preventive care and comprehensive hygiene services. Reporting to the lead dentist and practice owner, this role will promote excellent oral health through patient-centered clinical care, education, accurate documentation, and effective infection control.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient screenings and comprehensive oral assessments.
• Perform teeth cleanings and fluoride treatments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Document treatment and maintain accurate patient records.
• Follow infection control protocols.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a safe clinical environment.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in dental hygiene.
• Experience with electronic health records.
• Knowledge of infection control practices.
• Strong patient education skills.
• Effective clinical communication skills.
• Interest in work-life balance and opportunities to work in multiple facilities on an individual schedule.
• Ability to work within a weekly pay structure.
