Shift/Hours: Day Shift - Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (44 paid hours/week)

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Mississauga, is seeking an experienced CNC Brake Press Operator to join their production team. The successful candidate will set up and operate CNC Brake Press and shear equipment to cut and bend metal components according to mechanical drawings and quality specifications.

• Set up and operate CNC Brake Press and shear equipment.

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.

• Cut and bend metals of various types, sizes, and thicknesses.

• Calculate bend allowances and optimize sheet material usage to minimize scrap.

• Use measuring tools, including measuring tapes, squares, and Vernier calipers.

• Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards.

• Identify and report defects or non-conforming materials.

• Perform preventative machine maintenance and meet production deadlines.

• Handle materials, follow health and safety procedures, and participate in 5S activities.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.

• Minimum 2 years of direct CNC Brake Press setup and operating experience.

• Manufacturing experience preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.

• Strong mathematical, problem-solving, and mechanical skills.

• Experience using precision measuring tools, including Vernier calipers.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
