General Labourer

Kia Yorkdale is looking for a Tire Storage Attendant / General Labourer!

About us:

Kia Yorkdale is a Toronto automotive dealership focused on providing excellent customer service. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to support our service department by transporting customers' tires between our storage facility and dealership.

This is a physically demanding role requiring repeated lifting, loading and unloading of tires—including tires mounted on rims—throughout the workday. The successful candidate will make multiple trips each day using a company van to ensure tire sets are ready for scheduled service appointments.

Job Duties:

• Locate and retrieve customers' tire sets from our storage facility.

• Load tires and wheel assemblies into a company van, securing them safely for transport.

• Drive between the storage facility and dealership throughout the day.

• Unload and deliver tire sets to the designated service area.

• Return tires to storage and place them in their assigned locations.

• Check customer names, labels and storage records to ensure the correct sets are transported.

• Coordinate with the service team to prioritize tires needed for upcoming appointments.

• Maintain clean and organized storage, loading and work areas.

• Follow safe lifting, handling and driving procedures.

• Perform other general labour duties as assigned by the Service Manager.

Successful Candidates Possess:

• A valid Ontario G driver's licence and a good driving record.

• Confidence driving a van and making frequent trips throughout the day.

• The physical ability to safely lift and carry tires, including those mounted on rims, repeatedly throughout the workday.

• The ability to stand, walk, bend and perform manual labour for extended periods.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude.

• The ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

• Previous warehouse, delivery or general labour experience is an asset.
